The sweatbands in hats, size 7 1/4" are cut to 23" in length, if the hat size is 7 3/8" the leather sweatband is measured and cut to 23 3/8" in length. After measuring and cutting, the end of the sweatband is hand sewn together then hand sewn into the hat body.

Why I do not accept Returns:

I don't except returns because any hat returned can only be sold as a used item, a total teardown of the hat to clean the felt, replace the sweatband, hat band, hat liner, and brim binding. Each of my hats is handmade taking 2 weeks or more to complete, plus a refund could not be made until the hat was totally cleaned and rebuilt, any parts of the hat that had to be replaced would be deducted from the purchase price before any refund, the cost of everything replaced plus labor would be deducted. Even Herbert Johnson in England does not accept returns, I don't know of a hat maker that accepts returns.

Custom Handmade Bespoke Fedora & Cowboy Hats wide brims

Hats are made to order from 100% pure beaver or rabbit fur felt, finished with Vintage Grosgrain Ribbon, real leather (calf or lamb) sweatbands and satin hat liners, all hand sewn.

I work directly with each customer on every order. Each hat is built by hand from start to finish, and production typically takes about 2 weeks. Since it is just me, orders are made in the order they'er received.

Custom Hat Deposit of 50% down is required before I start work on your new hat, the deposit is non-refundable should you decide to cancel the order.

• Base Custom Rabbit: $350.00 (Includes standard band, liner, and sweatband)

• Base Custom FEPSA Rabbit $485

• Base Custom Beaver $600.00 (includes standard band, liner, and sweatband)

• Base Custom FEPSA Beaver $1,000.00

• Upgrades: Add-ons like exotic skins (rattlesnake/alligator) Leather, Beaded + $65.00
